Hygienitech Mattress Cleaning Florida Sold me system for $10,000, it is a Kirby vacuum with a light on it, Doug the owner, couldnt wait to take my money, when I needed help to get stared , as promised, he would not take my calls, I called for 3 straight months, what a piece of garbage, i dont know how he sleeps at night. This is the biggest scam on the web. Save your money. Beware of this company, they are scam artists. $10,000, wow. Nationwide

I started with Hygienitech in 2000,  This is a good business but people will not come to you,  You have to work at it Advertize and promote your business. So many people gets into this and thinks there going home and the phone is going to ring off, You have to promote your product. Doug has always been up front with us, I knew going into it back in 2000 I would have to work at it, We have been going now for 18 years and still going strong,  I do have a Carpet and Janitorial business that helps on leads, that is what Im talking about innovate Ideals and promote, This is not a franchise you pay every year to advertize for you, that is why your cost is lower. 

 I'm not sure you ever had your issues cleared up with hygenitech but thank you for posting because I was about to pull the trigger and purchase one of these. Thanks

 I can see why they wouldn't want to return your calls - you're an a**hole. Out of the thousands of satisfied users worldwide, no one should buy this product because of your failure to succeed? Hygienitch took my money too.... 3 times and I don't have a problem with that because I succeeded - you didn't and you blame Hygienitech.  

You are the kind of person that would buy a load of bricks, build a wall all crooked and then blame the bricks and the guy who sold you the bricks.

Ok for the last time I am responding to idiots on this post , so now I'm a jackass that didn't do any work and just wanted customers to appear in front of me , please read everything before you blindly post your response , you look stupid . Ok so again was not mad about the business not taking off , I own a successful business now, had to put a lot of hard work into it , I get it handjob, what I was upset about was how fast this man, Doug , charged my credit card for almost 10000$ mind you , we spoke about a game plan , territories etc etc , what I was upset about was once my credit card was put through this man would not take or return a phone call. I'm glad it worked for you and it sounds like  your doing well, that's great , I am just disgusted by the way he played me to get the money and once he got it that was the end , so it had nothing to do with me failing at a business or not putting in the effort that's insulting , it was about the way he takes people's money promises them certain things and once he gets the money he's done . So before you respond to any posts know what your talking about , because obviously you have no idea . I'm so done with these posts and Doug so dont  worry you will never hear from me again , just hope other people read this and don't waste their money.

 My company has been using the Hygienitech system since 2002 and I'd like to point out 2 irrefutable facts:

1) It works!

We've had countless great reviews regarding how quickly asthsmatics, children / adults with allergies and seniors experienced symptom relief. So, go ahead and split UV- engineering hairs and micro analyze Doug's words -but you're wrong. It works! 

2) The Hygienitech system has proven to be a reliable income source and working with Doug for the past 12 years has been a pleasure. We have rarely had one of our machines out of service, but whenever one stopped working, Doug was always available for tech support and whenever we sent a machine in for service, it came back looking like brand new. 

I can't see how that jackass didn't profit from using the Hygienitech system unless he figured he'd buy it and it would magically produce money without taking it out of the box. Owning a business of any kind is a lot of work and you only get out what you put in.

We proudly own and operate 3 Hygienitech systems and we use them daily to make our customers very happy. 

I just wanted to thank you for your research and response . I wish I would if done more homework before purchasing this piece of garbage for yes Doug almost $ 10,000, my own fault . I hope your research will show anyone ever considering buying this thing not too, it's been years and it still gets me how they rip people off. And as for Doug , you can say whatever you want , at the end of the day your a scam artist parasite , Karma is a b**** , and thanks again for proving this is all bulls***.

This experience could have been avoided prior to any money being exchanged with Hygienitch.

I notice that the owner of Hygienitech is stating that the technology is partly a Kirby device and has a germicidal UVC attachment that kills orgainisms, bacteria, dust mites and their eggs * also deadly viruses such as Anthrax etc. He goes on to mention bed bugs too.

PROOF ? If only you had asked for the proof that the unit itself is capable of destroying the afore mentioned organisms etc you may have avoided purchasing the device. 

UVC will in fact kill microorganisms but each organism has a total UV dosage that is required in order to be destroyed. The way in which the device is used it would be impossible to achieve such doses of UVC. By simply asking for a report to prove the killing effects would have avoided your $10,000 * or $6000 investment. * there are a number of known organisms that require upwards of 60,000 microwatts of germicidal UVC to be destroyed, the UVC bulb being used in the hygienitech system provides 1,000 microwatts of energy ( this would mean keeping the device still on each area of the mattress for 60 seconds ) - these are basic fundamentals of UVc which seem to be lost in the design of the Hygienitech device

# - please note, dust mites are not destroyed by germicidal UVC as they are not microorganisms, they are simply microscopic and UVC has no effect against them. There is also a suggestion that it kills bed bugs, and again, bed bugs are insects and not microorganisms.

This is a 3-year old complaint that we have addressed several times.  First of all, our equipment package costs $5450, not $10,000.  We have been in business since 1999 and today we have 850+ successful Hygienitech Service Providers operating thousands of Hygienitech systems in 76 countries around the world.  Hygienitech is a manufacturer of mattress santiizing systems and not a franchise.  We do not charge any royalties, on going fees, or any recurring charges whatsoever.  We do offer anyone who purchases our equipment marketing, advertising, promotional and technical support when requested to do so.  If in extremely rare situations someone posts a complaint like this, it's generally because they failed to develop a successful business for reasons beyond out control.  We cannot guarantee that everyone who purchases our equipment will be successful, that clearly depends upon the individula, but we are proud of the fact that in the last 13 years we have over a 99% success rate.  There's an old saying that you can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time.  We try, but there will always be tghe rare exception that no matter what we do to helkp them, it's not enough to overcome their personal quirks.

And more more thing, we have a staff of customer support people who return every phone call so if this person called us, he certainly would have either spoken to Doug Cerrito, the CEO of Hygienitech Systems, or one of his highly trained support staff.

As far as territory, once again, we manufacture equipment and we are not a franchise, therefore the idea of granted a territory is not only out of the question, but it would be illegal for us to do so.

Yes, 60% percent of our system consists of highly modified components supplied by Kirby.  It is not a consumer vacuum, it is high powered extraction device that incorporates UV-C Germicidal light to santize/sterilize mattresses and other upholstered items and the process is fully patented.

Yes, part of our system uses Kirby components and we do so because of the reliability and power of this machine.  However, we modify the system and incorporate a powerful UV-C light, complete with our own circuitry.  We also provide all of the accessories, supplies and marketing materials that enable an individual or company to provide complete anti-allergen services for any type of facility from private homes to hotels to cruise lines to military bases to college and university housing facilties, etc.  We provide a complete turnket business package.

Ok hygienitech seriously , you charged my credit card for $9800.00, you gave me absolutely no help which you promised, I advertised , got a website , and promoted system to no avail. That's not why I'm pissed. Your owner Doug could not wait to take my money, promised me everything under the sun and then would not even return my phone calls , this is a Kirby vacuum with a bullshit light on the front , they gave me some other bullshit spray and some stickers for $9800? You are scam artists and should be in jail for taking hard working people's money. There is nothing you can say to make it right your company is an absolute scam, your price is now $5900? Wow I wish I would of at least bought when you dropped your bullsh* price, still paying this thing off by the way 3 years later thanks Doug you f* parasite.

I am an authorized kirby dealer, and i can verify that the machine they use is a kirby. For anyone who has ever seen a kirby, you will right away recognize the machine they use as the kirby in the mattress cleaner mode. The difference is they add what looks like a light on the front. The machine is absolutley amazing. Nothing else can do what it does. But come on, 6k? They are getting away with murder. You can buy 3 kirbys with that money and you and both neighbors will have mattress cleaners.

Hygienitech is strickly an equipment manufacturer and

supplier of systems to clean and sanitize mattresses and other items in the

home such as chairs, sofas and carpeting. While the company endeavors to assist

people in establishing a business offering these services to private residences

and mult-bed facilities by providing them with variety of marketing and

advertising tools, the company does not take an active role in the operation or

management of these independent businesses.



Hygienitech is not a franchise and contrary to what this individual states, the

company does not make any claims as to exclusive territories in which a person

can operate this equipment.  The company also maintains a customer support staff that can be contacted 24/7 by email or by calling a toll free number during normal working hours.  Never in our 11-year history has anyone called our company and not received a response within 24-48 hours.



This unhappy purchaser is also overstating the price. Hygienitech sells its

equipment packages for $5950. His major complaint is that he was unable to

establish a business after circulating 900 flyers one time.  Anyone who understands marketing and advertising and its importance in establishing a business will certainly recognize the need to continually promote their product or service. 



He is also incorrect is stating that the system is a Kirby vacuum with a light

on the front. Hygienitech manufacturers a UV-C Germicidal sanitizing device

that kills micro-organisms, bacteria, dust mites and their eggs, common viruses

including some deadly ones such as the SARS virus, Anthrax Spores and now that bed bugs

have returned, Hygienitech systems are being used in these situations as well.

With 850 people operating our systems in 65 countries we are realists and therefore

it is not impossible for us to imagine that some people are not cut out for the

service business and the interpersonal skills required. This person appears to

be more concerned with debasing Hygienitech than working to build a successful

business.

I'm sorry you got drug into their scam, but I can at least try to help you use the thing.

I'm assuming you have the Sentria.

First, make sure the smaller handle is attached to the main machine by putting the metal lock into the slot. It will 'click' when it's locked, much like a seat belt. If the upright handle is there, take that off first by pressing the small button on the back of wear it connects to the machine. Again, like a seat belt.

If the actual vacuum head isn't on the port, what you need to do is take that, and pull the handle on the round head out and turn it until the red arrow matches up with the other red arrow. This can be a little hard as you're pulling the elastic band inside of it. Next, walk it up to the front of the power port and lock it in. Make sure that the lever on the power port is resting on the right, towards the side with the bag. There might be two little hooks on the vacuum head that can secure over the bar on the main machine to help hold it in place.

Once it's on the machine, secure it by turning the lever that I mentioned over away from the side with the bags and turn the handle on the head itself again, back the other way so that the GREEN arrow is on the other green arrow. This releases the band.

Put the 'hood' with the light down and plug it in. You're ready to go!

Strip the sheets and stuff off your bed, put them in the washer and put the pillows on the floor. Vacuum those first, holding the ends firmly.

Then go to the mattress and vacuum over it repeatedly for as long as your patience will allow. You'll never really get it all up, but you can get a lot with about 5 sweeps of the entire thing.
