All customers enrolling with IDT Energy have a choice of fixed rate or variable rate programs, many of which allow the customer to cancel at any time without penalty. Our customers also have the opportunity to register for the IDT Energy Online Rewards program, which, based on a typical customer's annual energy consumption of 10,000 kWh of electricity and 1,000 therms of gas, could provide the customer with as much as $100 in value annually, with no caps on what the customer may earn.

Fixed rate programs provide the budget certainty of a rate per kilowatt hour (kWh) that remains fixed, or locked, for a specified period of time up to 12-months. While no energy supplier can guarantee savings, fixed rates are usually evaluated against the utility’s price-to-compare over the full term of the agreement. As the utility price rises and falls throughout the term, your fixed rate remains the same.
