igetnet used many devious tricks to get internet surfers from all over the world to their servers. This made independant third parties like alexa.com report inflated traffic stats and over exaggerated the adoption, usage and value of their system and it's keyword program. At it's peak it looked like the 158th most popular web property on the planet. In reality though, the traffic was all junk, no legitimate use of any volume took place.
