Ikaput.com misdiagnosed the repairs for my brokent ipod and returned it to me broken. I was charged $39.99 for a battery repair, despoite having told the rep at Ikaput that I had just replaced the battery. They claimed the battery was indeed the problem according to their technicians, charged me $39.99 for the repair, and returned a broken ipod. This was Order #33331.
I contacted Ikaput and told them the ipod was still broken and had been misdiagnosed. Somehow I got Nathaniel on the phone and was told by him to send the ipod back in under a different order number for a credit for the misdiagnosis. I sent the broken ipod back into the company as Order #34355. A few weeks later, I contacted Meg to make sure they recieved my Ipod and to check on the status. Meg contacted me back two times. On each account she essentially said she was looking into it. I never heard back from Ikaput.com again. I would email and call once a week for two months and never had my calls or emails returned. My Ipod was never returned and I was never credited for the misdiagnosed battery.

Consequently, I contacted my credit card company, Citibank, to see if I could dispute the charge. Because Ikaput, did not send me any paperwork verifying not only that they would credit my account (which I had), but it must also include my credit card number on this required paperwork. Thus, Citibank could do nothing to help. Citibank also admitted that this was a "sneaky" company that knows how to take customers money.
