I'm was one of the early recruits to IPA and, after two and half years, have got to the point where I no longer owe IPA for advaces recieved, this involved about 6 months of work without pay. Now that I can look forward to recieving my monthly checks the silence is deafening, the last financial statement was recieved in February and I cant help wondering whether I will recive 1.5% interest on the money they owe me.

I was fortunate to join the company when their visionary founder was still alive, his dream was to create an agency for agents run by agents. I think it took about 180 days for the new managers to sell out to an insurance company effectivly making us all tied agents again. That IPA is now just a mini Mega/MW should come as no surprise to anyone, I dont think the current management know any other way to run an insurance agency and they certainly have no intention of honouring the founders vision.

Like some of the other corrospondents I was lied too and cheated by people in authority, there are bad apples in every barrel, but I dont think IPA can held accountable for every thing their managers do, they can be taken to task for not weeding out these liars and cheats who are largely responsible for down trend in their reputation.

In the interests of fairness I have also met some wonderful people at IPA, knowledgeable, trustworthy people of integrity sadly these are the people who are leaving, being fired or demoted, dare to be critical and you are marked.
For two years I was a top 10 producer but I have also decided to move on from IPA, not with bitternes but with a profound sadness for what could have been but for a handful of greedy, deceitful people.
