Industrial State Supply from 352-658-9745 as scam/fraud/strong arm extortion'
Called by these people, claiming I had agreed to buy 10 gallons of herbicide. I did buy 3 gallon in Oct. 09, had it put on my credit card, and received the product, (which was mediocre). I wouldnt buy it again. They claimed I needed to buy 7 more gallons at the locked in price, or later at high price. Said they gave me a good promotional price because they are a warehouse and need to finish selling me the minimum 10 gallon order, and there was no way out. They strong armed me to agreeing, but I later cancelled my check order when I found they said they called from Kentucky, but the phone # was from Trenton, FLA. A bunch of professional crooks. The first company was "TFS" The Farm Store. They changed their name, moved from New York, and extort people to order, saying I could exchange product for something in their catalog. BEWARE, dont take their word for it, just Hang UP. These people made me think I had agreed two years ago to buy more product. I KNOW I DIDN"T, but they had all my information at hand even CC#. I have since cancelled that number and account. They knew every answer to give and had me convinced I was obligated to make the order, but looking up their number after the fact, found they are doing this to many unsuspecting people. I needed to post my info for you to beware. The scamsters main man is John Michael Kelley, and his henchman is named "Jim". If you want to call him toll free, use 877-592-0608 extension 115. Maybe he will talk you into buying what you don't need.

Very similar story, but I called a number in Babylon, NY about a product they sell for garage floor coatings. www.durco.com or www.industrialstatesupply.com They said I only needed 2 gallons of product and that they normally sell 10 gall, but are making an exception. They also said specifically that I did not need to use acid etching eventhough it says to on the can of product. Well, it did not work well, and started coming up. Well long story short, got phone calls saying I needed to finish my order for 10 cans, they would be charging my card. I got the product, but did not work the second time well even with acid etching. Manager Mike is very pushy and insulting on the phone, requested a refund by certified mail and stated that if not might need to get a lawyer. That is when they called and would not listen me, not let me talk. Eventually offered to refund any left over unused product once I sent it back to them. Not sure what to do now . . .

Scam artists got to my Bank Account

I thought I had protected myself by stopping payment on the secure check I had agreed to with TFS, Industrial Supply. The check number was entered by the bank on Friday, along with the company name. I paid a $23 service fee to stop payment. They hadn't tried to collect funds at this point.
Today, Wednesday, I checked my account to verify the final two checks to come in which had been written, had cleared the bank so I could close the account for good. The fraudsters had tried to run the check # I had given them, but the bank had it flagged. They then sent in a check number far in advance, by a couple thousand, of the one I had used. It went through the bank system and they were paid. I disputed the payment.
The bank is in the process of collecting the money from their bank, making my account whole, and I hope they file charges against Industrial State Supply for fraudlently seeking payment for a check number which I may use in about 15 years.
The are Crooks.....don't deal with them.
