INN Leather Inn Leather resort shady, coprruption Fort Lauderdale Florida

I found INN Lether online, a little pricy, but wanted to get away for my birthday weekend. Well it was like stepping into the twilight zone. The hotel was completly gatted and looked more of a crack house than a resort. 

When I was escorted to my room, I found it ok, but was a back door which led to the outside of the resort in a very notsecure area part of Fort lauderdale. The first night i was there I was laying about the side of the pool, when I noticed a man walking on the roof of the resort/motel then I noticed several police officers on the other side of the pool where all the trees where and jestured me away from the area with the but of their service revolver. 

Ok I thought to my self, none of my buisness and went to my room, I thought this guy was trying to kill himslef, or seomthing. several hours passed and it appeared to be over. At this point at thought to myself what did I walk into.  web site had no pictures and only a hand of reviews, I should have known better. The place beagan to remind me of the movie Hostile. It didn't get more strange till a little latter, I latter heard some one screaming for help a few rooms down, called the police and they never arrived.

ok I thought maybe they have there own security. At this point I wanted to leave, when I packed my bags and made it to the end of the hall way, what' appeared to be a police office was their wearining a ski mask, turned his head back and fourth. I remained in that room for over a day and half under those conditions. 

It wasn't till later that one of the air conditioning units started to catch fire or something and a nehbor responded saying it's smells electrical and deff the air conditioning, I called 911 they took the address and never showed up.

I could here them just down the street, so i went and sat to wait for them, but they never came either, at this point I had enough, I didn't know what was going on, only that I felt intimdated from leaving the property. I left every thing in the room my laptop, wallet, phone, travel bag and sneakers. I was not going back in, no way! I have seen to many stories like this on tv. 

I waited for police, flagged down the police and nothing. convinced my time was at a near, like I said Hostil. I sat and waited for almost tweleve hours, when the city woke up to go to work when finally, an ambulance showed up and took me to the hospital where they said I had a panic 'attack, really, panic attack, you think. scared out of my witts in a strange town and something just not right. I think panic attack just doesn't quite cover it. The last thing I heard was a Detective Female african american was on the property. What they were up to god only knows

I realize now, wrong place at the wrong time. and as a reminder never go out a lone, where family and friends don't know where you are. All ways keep somebody you trust informed. And again don't go out alone it's dangerous even when you are a pretty big guy.
