 Only two months ago, with great joy and anticipation my family and I moved into our newly built custom designed home, constructed by Innovation Custom Builders. Now only 2 months after moving in, our dream homes driveway is crumbling and falling apart right under our feet and before our very eyes. What a nightmare. 'No worries,' l confidently said to my wife. 'We purchased Innovation Custom Builders homeowners warranty everything will be made right. I felt certain that such an established and reputable company as Innovative Custom Builders would make this right and at first it appeared that all would be made right. Yes we would have to endure the construction crews and all their mess after moving into our new home and right before the holidays too, but stuff happens and as long as Innovation Custom Builders makes it right we will be fine. Well, we're not fine. After being assured by Innovation Custom Builders that they would assess the issue and take the responsible action, what actually happened is far less then advertised, expected, or promised by Innovation Custom Builders. To say that I am disappointed is not enough to describe the impact that Innovation Custom Builders negligence has brought to what should have been the most joyful and amazing holiday season our family has yet experienced. This is astonishing. After talking to the builder and being promised that they would get the concrete company out to inspect the driveway and make a determination, nothing happened. Days went by. I called again and was told 'we're still waiting on the concrete company to have a look.'

Finally after days and days of no comment Innovation Custom Home Builders responded. 'We are not responsible.' The driveway defect is just cosmetic and not covered by the home warranty. I was livid. 'What company came out and inspected?' I asked. I was told no one came out. I had already employed a concrete contractor to complete additional work on the property that was not part of the original build. His assessment was that the driveway was far too wet when first poured and to fix it the crew added sand and poured more mix on top to cover up the mistake. Now the only fix is to tear it out and pour the whole driveway again. This is the result of working with Innovation Custom Builders. There lack of oversight during construction of the driveway makes me wonder what else did they miss. What else will I discover about the build was not properly supervised. That is the builders responsibility. Innovation Custom Builders fell fall far short of that responsibility. My advice. Don't use Innovation Builders.
