I received a letter containing a check for $2270.70 The letter stated that this was a response to a North American Law that stipulated that the receiver must pay a processing feebefore i could claim a unclaimed settelment for the amount of $80,000,oo.

I was advised that i was suppose to call 1-514-656398 prior to cashing the check. No other details were reveiled , only to contact Peter Adams.

North America?

" The letter stated that this was a response to a North American Law that stipulated that the receiver must pay a processing fee ..."

These scams always give themselves away in the details.   For instance, there is no such thing as a "North American Law".   North America is not a country, it is a continent.   It has no law making body, and therefore, no laws.
