I do not find it strange that they wouldn't offer a refund on their software. Albeit, the above example of returning an item that has no visible way of seeing usage doesn't apply. If you look for instance at any other software application, refunds are almost never available. This is because once you have the software, you always have it. Whether a refund is offered or not. You cannot for instance go to a software store and purchase software, open it install it then attempt to return it to the store. Opened software has effectively been used from the store's point of view. Software piracy is a major problem and returning software, whether you say you're using it or not, still means the software may have been copied. Its not a physical medium and can be copied and therefore returns are rarely issued.

I see nothing out of the ordinary with the response you were provided with from TriLogics.

Hi Reg, just to answer your question. I cannot really say if I was happy with the programme as I never managed to trade "LIVE" for long enough.  I only did so for a few weeks. I can however say I was happy with the training I received and the the professional way the company conducts themsleves.  You state you do not know many companies that would do a refund after you have bought a product. I disagree having worked in retail for many years.

This was not a case of me wanting to return something that had been used and was unable to be re-sold.

This is a link that is simply downloaded onto your computer. It is also not a programme you can just ask someone else to buy from you as there are limited people who have the time or money to do so.

Also we are talking about nearly $18,000 here, NOT a small amount. Morally it would have been the right thing to do and good PR I would have been happy with HALF of what I paid. I CANNOT use it and I will NEVER use it.

I am looking into Trilogics and just want to confirm with you something. You say the sales and training was good and the only reason you want your money back is because of your health?

Is it that you were unhappy with the product at all?

I dont want to sound like I'm taking sides but for my knowledge not many bussiness's refund on the basis of how you personally feel. it has to be weather the product is faulty etc. So from your satement I dont see them being any different from even my bussiness.

I would love to hear what a current new user had to say about it.

My husband passed away 2 years ago and I was looking to make a small income from home. I recently saw an advert on the Internet about a software program that could help you do this and made an inquiry on line.

The company I am talking about is Intervest Global also known as Tilogics.

When selling their product they stress it is better that you are not a gambler, which I certainly am not and that this is all about numbers and mathematical probability. It is horses we are dealing with and they will lose, they tell you that, but if you follow the guidelines you will come out ahead. In fact you should earn back what you paid for the program within 12 months.

After months of consideration and going to their office at Southport to meet the General Manager I made the decision to buy the program. I paid $17,950.

I bought at the end of May (2010) and commenced training straight away. After 4 months of training which involves what they call "paper trading" which is just practicing, I was ready to trade "LIVE".

I only did this for a few weeks and very quickly came to realize that I was not suited to using this program. I became so stressed and sick from the nervousness of using it that I nearly ended up in hospital. My trainer said I had to toughen up and not let my emotions take over (easier said than done). I tried so hard as I had paid so much and  could not afford to lose so much money. But I was simply too scared to use it again as I did not want to put myself under that kind of pressure again and end up so sick.

I tried to explain this to all the senior management at Trilogics and even forwarded them my doctors certificate. I offered to pay for all my training sessions and as I had only used it "LIVE" for such a short time and I was not able to use it, could I please have some kind of refund. But they refused.

I sent several emails begging them to consider even refunding just half of what I had paid only 4 months ago and explained this was putting a huge burden on me financially but they just did not care.

It is not a matter of me changing my mind. It is the fact I have paid so much for a program that for medical reasons, brought on by operating their system, I simply cannot use. It is not like I am wanting to return something second-hand that cannot be re-sold. This was a link down loaded from the internet onto my computer.

They were all so nice and professional when selling me the program and even with the training, but they are sadly lacking in this now that I am wanting some kind of refund. If they had any shred of decency they would offer me at least some of the nearly $18,000 I paid. I would have been happy with even HALF, but they will not do ANY kind of refund.

So I have lost my money and I do not know how they sleep at night. I only hope by telling my story I can warn other people who may be considering buying this software to be careful. It is NOT for everyone and if you find out like me you just do not have nerves of steel and cannot use it for wahtever reason............                           YOU WILL NOT GET ANY OF YOUR MONEY BACK!!!
