I have been here at this location for over three months now pending a home purchase.
during my stay i have found the need to file several complaints pertaining to loud noises, dents in my vehicle pertaing to improper handi-cap parking. lack of phone service,and house keeping service.
like the other complaints I've read on this company: there seems to be no contact to corporate-just a customer recording where no one returns calls. I believe this to be there standard setup, for i have called other locations across the country in an attempt to locate upper management.
Over the past two months my house keeper would make slight gestures asking could she rent a room after my home purchase, noticing perfumes bought for my girlfriend and requesting a gift for herself. At times I would respond kindly, knowing that i would never accept the offers being made.
At one point it was mentioned by my female friend that she noticed being observed somtimes while visting me, by this house keeper.
I have traveled alot and have to learned handle these propositions with some diplomacy and without incidents.
the last visit from my female friend was on 8-5-07 at which time i showered with the gifts that had purchased for her. again she made eye contact with the housekeeper assigned to my floor.
The next day 8-6-07 was my room service day. the maid was at my door i assumed to extend service. I opened the door preparing to step out so she could complete her tasks. Her response was "take your time i'll come back" for she noticed that I was having lunch.
During the course of the day i was in and out running errands etc. I noticed that my room was not yet serviced and that housekeeping is usually ended their day from 2 - 3pm. and it was around that time of the day! so I called the front desk.
I spoke to management (Mr. Bob Gadiss),inquiring as to my room service. What came next was shocking!
I was told that my house keeper did not wish to clean my room because I kept making passes at her! and she just could'nt take it anymore! "that is a lie" I exclaimed.He stated that he would discuss that with her and send her around to clean.
I propped open my door and took a chair out to be seated, at this point still in a coma of what just transpired i did not whish to be put in anymore of harms way.
Awhile later the manager and maid arrived to start service, by this time i realized what i was dealing with and did not confront her about these lies.
By that time a friend had arrived, for we had plans to handle some banking business. He noticed that I was a bit distraught and asked what the matter might be.I told him that I would explain later. He started to speak to the housekeeper but I stopped him, informing him that it would not be a wise choice to do so.
As she cleaned the room she was joined by another maid while my friend and I were outside the room observing.He continued to attempt to make conclusions of my strange and silent behavior.
AS the service neared the end,the maid of incident, stated to me that she was removing some dishes from my kitchen sink so that she could wash her MOP OUT! I informed her that I would rather she not, and suggested a bucket or the bathroom tub.
She disregared my request and proceede to rinse her mop. My friend I looked at each other with utter amazement.
I mentioned to him that i now understood my sore throat and slight Queeesyness over the past month or so.
For the rest of the day I was dazed my the situation and was in decission as to what to do.
I continued with my day the best I could while gathering the facts over the past few months of contact with this estranged maid. I wanted a resolution to the lies and nasty room service that i had received.
My friend and I approached the manager after closing to defend the false aligations and voice concerns about the cleaning habits of this individual. Jay (the friend) was a witness to only one of many flirty comments made by this maid.
The manager did not wish to hear anything!! and stated that she could produce some maid friend witnesses to collaborate her story. I did get a few words in and even he was shocked at having a mop rinsed in your sink!
The manager did confess that it seem strange that months later that she would report to him that she feared my vicious stalking (joke).
He also stated that he did'nt care either way,that it made no diferece to him cause tommoro (8-7-07) was his last day.
I inquired on who would be the next manager cause I wanted have my concerns addressed and request that I receive no more housekeeping services. I would clean my room myself. I also requested a corporate number for contact his response. "you should have it,you have called to complain before". After explaining to him that my coplaints were done on line I concede the the fact that finding a resolution would be futile.
It all began to get shockingly clear! But are they serious? Is this happening?!
again as I have read in other complaints on this site. there is no contact numbers or corporate office to reach, just a number to leave messages! or online comments,neither of which have i been able to obtain personal contact! NOW THE PUNCH LINE!
I wnet to the front desk on 8-8-07 to have my keys recharge cause they were not working properly.I also asked when I would be able to contact the new manager.
Not to my surprise the asst. mngr.,sarah, stated that she was trying to reach me for the reason that she was instructed not to re-new my room come tuesday at check out! she had no information or answers or contacts. just that I would have to leave tuesday(8-11-07).
appears that the other reports on your site are correct and i found comfort in knowing that there were others.Although I'm sure that there are many more frustrated customers that have not been heard from.
please feel free to have any other site members or any one who can shed light on this issue contactme.
ps. I also had strange phone problems for a couple of weeks following complaints.
