The software causes numerous system problems. The worst for me being the antivirus piece. Totally unreliable. Many an upgrade has been released since the original System Mechanic Pro was released. None of the upgrades address the softwares failings. I DON'T give a hoot what it looks like as long as it works. I have sent numerous emails for technecal support over the past year and are still waiting for a reply. I'm so desperate now I'd except a rude email! Just anything will do. Their virus software is sourced from outside and doesn't seem to be a very popular choice anyway.
