Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct client intake meetings in order to assess needs and form effective strategies
• Write new and edit existing client resumes with the overall appearance, writing style and content necessary for clients to get noticed
• Offer thoughtful, productive feedback to clients as necessary
• Respond professionally and promptly to client comments and revision requests
• Convey to clients the value of career re-branding options that complement a well-written resume and are vital to a successful job search. These may include cover letters, optimized LinkedIn profiles, biographies and other forms of communication
• Provide related services or make necessary referrals within the agency
• Maintain communication with iPropel You and provide work consistent with its reputation, values, and mission

Minimum Qualifications

• Passion for helping others put their best foot forward
• High standard of customer service
• Excellent writing, grammar, and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to listen attentively and analyze information effectively
• Thinks strategically and operates with keen business acumen
• Manages tasks well and meets required deadlines
• Responds professionally, in a timely manner
• Possesses the technical proficiency necessary to work remotely, meet client needs, and produce quality work

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in professional resume writing for entry, mid-level and/or executive clients
• Experience and/or education in recruitment, career coaching, human resources, communications, writing, literature, languages, or sales, and marketing field
• Knowledge of job scans and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
• Ability to write effective resumes or curriculum vitae, highly optimized LinkedIn profiles and engaging professional biographies and cover letters
• Comprehensive understanding of various industries and related roles from entry-level to executive positions
• Awareness of basic human resource and hiring practices

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour

She followed up with a Zoom information session of about 80 applicants that started hemorrhaging attendees as soon as she made it clear that, if one wants to apply without a license to write resumes (not actually required for writing resumes), one would need to apply for her training courses.
