IQ DermaIQ Derma - Intelligent Beauty charged me for a product that was advertised as a free sample and also signed me up for recurring shipments without consent Internet

I clicked on a web ad which said it was only $3.95 s&h to try their product. I read the ad carefully looking for catches, like more would be mailed later or something -- did not see any. I was charged $3.95 immediately, and then $96.35 30 days later, and then another $96.35 30 days after that. I returned the 2nd shipment of their skin cream product (at my expense) and did receive a refund for that. I just today noticed the 1st $96 charge for the original "free trial" sample on my May credit card statement.

IQ Derma agreed to refund charge -- we'll see if they actually do

To be fair, I wanted to report that I called the company about my original $96.35 charge for a free sample. They said since it had been 60 days that I could only return the product and receive a store credit, rather than be reimbursed. I informed them that I intended to call the Better Business Bureau and my credit card company, at which time he said he'd put me on hold and see what he could do. He came back and said that they would refund my money to my credit card, and I did not have to return the product. Yeah! I'll be looking anxiously at my next credit card statement to make sure they follow through on their promise.
