I worked at this office this year beginning Jan 2006 through 4/17/06, I have a note in writing from my boss stating he would pay me a 1% bonus for the office overall volume, he is now refusing because I complained about his bad office practices, arguing with customers, excessive high fees, doing returns that were not at all correct one time depreciated a vehicle twice, would give free returns but another customer he would't give a discount would rather argue with them. So many customer complaints about him, I wrote corporate and they sent him the emails, I made a statement about a list of disatisfied customers now he is accusing me of stealing his customers and wants to get a lawyer. He operated for a while without a NC license to be able to do loans. He closed the office during tax season, since corporate doesn't care I guess I am screwed. I also had a preparer who complained to me about him hugging on her and making her feel uncomfortable. His wife who didn't work there also would argue with the customers, a receptionist we had was so verbally abused by her it was pitifil.But my advice is not to ever go to this office, Jackson Hewitt has a lot of good people who work for them but he is not one of them.

I finally got my 1% commission that was due me the other day in the mail. Thanks to xxxxxx. I had one of the best people to help me out and he got this issue solved and I got my money. So a little advice just remember keep faith in God and in the system. There are some people who also want justice in this world, and xxxxx have people there who are excellant at their job. I am glad I don't have to deal with this issue anymore.

I have since been told by Jackson Hewitt customer Service that there was no need to send a letter of complaint to Jackson Hewitt about there frachise owners, because I would not get a reply. This is pitiful, that a big place like Jackson Hewitt doesn't care how badly their offices are run, espcially like the one on Millbrook Rd in Raleigh NC.
I did send a letter to the Vice President and to there H. R dept. The customer service lady advised me where to send but not to expect an answer. He still hasn't paid me. So any consumers or people who might want to deal with Grace Tax service on Millbrook Rd be smart and to to another place to work or to have your taxes filed. There fees are high, and most people can do their taxes for free on the internet at www.irs.gov also AARP has places you can go if your a senior. So please think before you let this place cause you a lot of grief, there are so many upset customers and employees who have been to the Millbrook Rd office. Shop around is my advice to you for help.
I still have not gotten my 1% bonus, trying to get help from the NC DEPT of Wage and Labor. Employees who go to work with him at Millbrook Rd be aware that he bounced one of the employees commission checks. Finally made it good but what does this say for him.
