Jag Mortgage is a SCAM i worked at this place they push homeowners into loan modifications if they can't refi or offer to Short Sale the person home for them yet they say in the mailer ( Everyone Qualifies) be catious of this company. They asked me for 7000.00 upfront before closing my loan and told me it was a PRE-CLOSING cost after researching closing costs i found out it is illegal to charge any fee of that sort im 79 but im not some old dummy. So i used CASH CALL home loans they were super and no closing costs were charged to me at all not even a apprasial fee this was great im super happy now.

Hello-

I am extremely surprised and shocked!! How could anyone really say anything bad about Jo Guthrie??? My goodness, our family has been extremely blessed with the JAG company services...3 times in the past 14 years...WHAT!!! Yes, we have! We first purchased our home in the year 2000. Our first experience with JAG Realty and Jo Guthrie. It was such a blessing to have crossed paths with Jo.

Our 2nd time with this company was in 2007 (refi)..NO problems again...nothing but wonderful, honest hard work. Now, we just closed last week with Jo Guthrie again...we will always come back to Jo for our lending/mortgage needs. I have had faith in Jo since 2000, not really caring what this report says...I have the experience and pleasure of sleeping well at night..knowing Jo will work and work...to get the job done..Thanks Jo Guthrie...you are an Angel!!

In nearly 20 years in the business, I have never had a negative report filed against me or my company. I have no knowledge of the company named "Optimum Funding Loan Modifications" nor have I ever had an ownership interest in a Loan Modification Company. This article makes NO sense.

This person states that they worked for my company and that he/she iis 79 and "not some old dummy".  If he/she worked for my company, he/she would be a licensed sales person with the California Department of Real Estate and would have a working knowledge of this business. If he/she worked for my company, why would he/she be referencing a mailer they received and why would he/she allow themselves to be charged upfront pre-closing costs? Any licensed loan officer knows that this is a RESPA violation.

I have not sent out mailers soliciiting loan modifications. I do not do short sales. I DO LOANS. Further more I have never asked for up front fees to do a loan.

This report is TOTALLY FALSE! I am not sure why I am being falsely accused. My accuser has never even contacted me or the Department of Real Estate to lodge a complaint. I had a spotless reputation previous to this report and I have always strived to give excellent service to my clients. I would welcome a call from the author of this report. I am sure that you will not contact me because you do not have anything to substansiate your claims.
