Jakes tries to extort money from honest people!
I had loaned my van to my daughter for a few months.
One day it caught fire, in front of her apartment, from the wiring under the dash.
Someone called Jakes to haul it away, and when they showed up, my daughter told them she had no money to pay them to haul it.
They told her that they would call me, the owner, and if I would sign the title over to them, the bill would be covered.
She didn't know the name of the towing company, and they didn't notify me within 24 hours like they were supposed to.
In fact, they waited 2 months before they finally called, and then told me I owed them $1500 for towing and storage!!!
I told them what my daughter had told me, but they refused to abide, then reported their extortion bill on my credit report!
I have perfect credit other than that, and now can't buy a house until I figure out a way to remove this.
