I am a cable TV subscriber to Comcast, and looking for ways to decrease my monthly bill. JAM Enterprise, states that, consumers can eliminate the monthly Digital Cable Box rental fees, by buying a Digital Cable Box from them. Comcast will allow me to install a cable card in the cable box, but they will not register the box to the Comcast network. I can receive
partial cable, but cannot receive two-way communication with the Comcast network, meaning:
1. Cannot receive On-Demand
2. Cannot use any Comcast service that requires two-way communications
3. Comcast still charges a monthly fee for the cable outlet
A Comcast Installer also told me,that in the next few months, all Digital Cable boxes will be obsolete, as
Comcast upgrades the network. This will require new Comcast leased devices on the network. I want to return my cable box for a full refund, but JAM will not return my calls, or emails.

"Jay" is the King of BS!!!!

I didn't think to look on here before I bought my cable box or I would not have done business with this crook who calls himself "Jay"!
I order my cable box in July of 2014 with the only method "Jay" would accept, check by phone. I thought it would speed up the process, it didn't, I got my cable box 3 weeks later, it was dented, beat-up, scratched up, and looked like it was pulled from a dumpster somewhere.
I followed "Jay's" instructions to a tee, the box didn't work. I called "Jay" and he walked me through everything on the phone, the box still didn't work. He instructed me to go get a comcast card, I did, the box still didn't work. I called him again, we went through everything on the phone, and the box still didn't work, he told me comcast's card was bad and I should go get another one. I did and again we went through everything and the box still didn't work.
"Jay" finally said "I will build you a special box to work on your system, just send that one back”. So I paid the shipping and followed “Jay’s” RMA process to a tee, that was the last time Jay has ever spoke to me. Through the tracking # I know he received the box, he didn’t return any phone calls or emails, and now has blocked my phone from calling him.
“Jay” now has the box and my money! I wish I could find this slimy good for nothing, if anything I’d just like to know why he decided to rob me! If I lived closer to Englewood I’d probably find him and take my money out of him the old fashion way, but I live across the country so that’s probably why he chose to rob me

We have never sold a digital converter that works out of the shipping container.
These units are rated as "Plug & Play" by the FCC.
As long as you have legit cable service the cable card is paired to the host & data #'s of the converter, then paired and activated by the customers service provider. Nothing clever about this.
This customer either did not follow the plug & play steps or could not because he was a "POLE CLIMBER" cable theif without a legal service hook up.
As far as our legit cable subscribing customers they have their digital converters up and running in less than 10 minutes.
Now if this customer was legit we could have helped.
Advertisers above have met our
strict standards for business conduct.
