In 2008, Mr. Tibbets was set up on Rte 1 in Brunswick with a sign advertising firewood for sale. He pulled a high pressure con insisting on prepayment with promise of delivery within 2 weeks. The price of heating oil was at an all time high at the time, and firewood was also selling at a premium. He delivered half of the agreed amount of firewood 3 months later. By then I had purchased firewood through a reputable dealer, and the process of going through small claims court was too much of a pain in the a*s. Watch out.
