And the rest of the story......The model that made this report ( Kim Castaneda) ,from Las Cruces , New Mexico, has since called to ask that I forgive her for her actions. This is the whole story from beginning to end. I first met Kim a number of years ago while in Texas on a shoot for a model agency. She mentioned in her report that I worked for the agency. That's not entirely correct. I did shoots for the agency, but that was the extent of my participation with them. I have been incorporated as my own photography business from the beginning. I do contract work as a freelance photographer . I have worked for numerous agencies from NYC to Miami, large and small. Since we met , she and I have done a total of 4 separate shoots. The first in Texas was a paid shoot, which was paid to the agency that hired me. The second was a test shoot , for which she traveled to Phoenix, AZ for. The third was in White Sands ,NM which was also a test shoot. This is where our brief relationship began. A while later she came to NYC, and stayed at my apt. in the city. I agreed at that time to do a shoot for her in swimwear provided for her by a client of hers. We then decided on a location near Brighton Beach, Brooklyn. The fee I agreed to was $100.00 This was mainly to cover taxi, subway and bus fare to and from the location. As we were into the shoot, she asked to include some of the accessories that the client had so eagerly provided to her. I politely refused to include them based on the notion that they would in no way contribute to creating a better image for her. Also I felt that the client may have wrongfully wanted to use these images for their website, without any renumeration for my work. We finished shooting due to poor lighting conditions, and decided to continue at my studio. When we arrived , Kim begin to prepare to finish the shoot, while I stepped out for some food. When I came back to the studio, she had all of the accessories laid out and asked again to shoot these. At this time I refused to finish the shoot if she were to continue with this request. This is when she became enraged and began to pack her shoot attire and promptly left the shoot space. I was angered at her actions and refused to take her calls . However after two weeks, wanting to finish this entanglement, I did pick out 4 images, retouched them , then printed them for her and mailed them to her apt. in Las Cruces. That was my last communication with her until recently, when she called for closure. I have no hard feelings against her and I enjoyed the brief relationship we had together.
