Beware of Jamie Parrish (Jamie Moreland/Jamie Smith) of Silver Tzu legacy (formerly West Coast Shih Tzu) in Reno, NV. I agreed to but 2 shih tzu puppies from her over Facebook in March - 1 male and 1 female (not for breeding, for pets only). I sent her a deposit for 2 puppies ($1000 total/$500 each).

I had previously purchased a shih tzu from her in November 2020 without any problems. This time her communication was very poor and when I asked for photos/videos of the puppies she was snippy and said she didn’t have time and was busy. She sent me 1 video only in a month.

When it came time to pick up the puppies on April 10th she suddenly claimed she "forgot” we wanted the female puppy and had only males left. She claimed she had been under so much stress. At this point my husband and I felt she was no longer trustworthy and told her the deal was off and to please return our $1000 in deposits.

We still wanted the male puppy, but we suspected she was lying to us about no longer having the female, and not knowing what she was up to, we didn’t want to get ripped off for even more money. She flatly refused to return any of our $. I sent her a demand letter from an attorney again asking for our $1000 returned.

As of today she still had not refunded anything. Doing a public records search, I found she had an extensive criminal history including multiple felonies and judgements against her. She has 4 different Facebook profiles and just changed the name of her business again.
