Jasen Harvey/Harveys Tax Service Catharine Harvey Tax Preparer collecting exorbitant fees for Fraudulent IRS refund schemes resulting in huge penalties and interest for Client Plant City Florida

"Tax" preparer, Jasen Harvey of Harveys Tax Service in Plant City directed me to a "mortgage payoff program" which he said would be facilitated with an IRS tax refund . He ran this "Program"in conjunction with separatist "Sovereign State" members. The pre-requisite for the program was to make a "donation" from the proceeds of the tax refund.  

Mr. Harvey tried to get me to sign a contract in which I committed to such a donation. I refused. He had prepared my tax 2016 return which resulted in a substantial refund which he said I was entitled to under the "Depository Agreement" I had with my bank. Mr. Harvey received a fee of approximately $12,000 which had been predicated on a "successful" refund.

Soon after I received the refund, the IRS, levied my bank account and issued me both jeopardy and federal liens on my property (which I was trying to sell). Mr. Harvey promised to correct the situation as he represented that the IRS was "wrong".  I eventually hired an attorney so that the IRS would not block the sale of my property, This fiasco was an enormous source of stress and anxiety for me -moreover resulting in huge legal fees, as well as penalties & interest to the IRS.

I would say the tally is close to $100,000 when all is said and done. Needless to say, Mr. Harvey did not return his fee or accept any accountability even though he promised on numerous occasions to remedy the situation. I have a ton of documents to substantiate my claim.

My best advice- STAY AWAY from this Fraudster who even gets his old mother involved in his illegal activity. He belongs behind bars if he is not already there.
