In Sept of 2016 Jason Wells was joining Facebook groups dedicated to skateboarding in order to scam people out of their money by promising a good deal on custom boards and professional craftsmanship.  The original deal was for 15 screen printed skateboard decks for $300.  He later increased the price to $350 and because I didn't say anything at the time, he again increased the price to $375.  I called him on it and he still charged me $50 more than the original offer.

The craftsmanship was 100% unprofessional and he made excuse after excuse why he coulnd't finish the boards in the time promised which was 2-3 weeks.  After several message and several excuses later, I finally got a partial shipment of boards a full 4 months later with a promise to send the final boards as soon as they were ready.

Several months and many many lies and excuses later I finally got fed up with all the lies and excuses and demanded to finish our business deal or I would file a complaint.  Jason Wells then acted like I hurt his feeling and then decided it was his right to not only STEAL the rest of the boards he claimed to have been ready to ship to me, but also to lie and say that he was going to send the boards when he recieved the money to ship them, all the while knowing that he was really just stealing more money from me.

So $350 for the boards that were shoddy and only 2/3 complete, plus he charged me shipping for 15 boards but only sent 10, so another $50 stolen by misrepresenting the price of shipping and the weight of the package.  Then to scam more money, he claimed he would send the rest of my order with a check for shipping which is $25.

Jason Wells and Dub Press are a selective scam operation.  They don't uphold their agreements, they misrepresent the products they advertise, and they plot ways to further rip off unsuspecting consumers.

Every Opportunity In The World

First off, nobody is going to give you money up front without seeing what the seller has to offer.  It took nearly two months for Jason at Dumb Press to provide something that at least HINTED at being able to back up his claims of making boards in-house and applying the graphics.  Two months for Jason to provide any kind of proof.  His initial excuse was that he couldn't show anybody anything because of "trade secrets".  Yeah right.

Finally, when payment was made, all I got was delay after delay after delay.

I gave Jason every opportunity I could poosibly give to communicate with me, work something out, so that we both could come to a PROFESSIONAL agreement we both could be mutually satisfied with.

Instead, Jason decided his ego couldn't handle justified criticism of his unprofessionalism and laziness.

Instead of doing the gentlemanly thing and admitting he made false claims he coulnd't live up to, he decided to drag me through his personal life and his other business dealing with other buyers and companies.  NOT COOL!!!!

I never signed up to be Jason's counselor and he had absolutly no reason to act surprised when I finally got fed up and demanded my order be completed or difference refunded.

Don't know why you wish to keep ressurecting your failed business transaction with me.  Let go and chalk it up as a learning experience and use it to your advantage.

He is correct, he contacted me to get boards made when I was offering them for 300. However no deposit nor confirmation of order was made, just a showing of interest. Can you go to the gas station when the price of gas is $2 but months later when you're ready to buy.and the price is $2.50 do you think they'll honor that? No. That $300 price was a limited offer. Also, this Beau sent me a black and white hand drawn graphic. I had to not only redo the lines to make them look better, but add color because he claims he is color blind. I did many many different color ways to where he would have to ask his friends and then ask me to change things. These alterations took weeks because he took his sweet time to get back to me. I have all of our chats logged and will submit them to ANYONE that requests them to prove my innocence. I sent him 12 boards because 3 had flaws. I told.him I would send the rest at a later date. (2 weeks). He then started slandering me and my company and being very rude even though I kept constant contact. I decided it would be best to refund him for the decks he did not receive and cut ties. I will not deal with someone who acts like this and the whole time I did not feel comfortable working with him when he would tell me he wanted to send marijuana concentrates over state lines in a greeting card. I feel I did the right thing and would do it again if a similar situation occurs. I am not forced to do business with someone who acts in such a manner.
