 Bill with Approved Electrical in San Antonio was hired by JD Southern Electrical to do renovations on Chase Bank and was fully compensated over and above the agreed price for the SOW agreed upon. JD Southern Electrical's owner received a call from Bill stating his wife was leaving him because his new work vehicle was going to be repossessed and asked the owner to borrow the money to save his truck. The owner personally hand walked the money into the bank and deposited into Bill's personal account. Prior to working for JD Southern, Bill signed a non compete/ non solicitation contract with JD Southern and Bill with approved electrical proceeded the attempt to solicit his company to the contractor directly and was immediately turned down. It was shortly after that period when Bill started calling the contractor and falsely accusing JD Southern of not paying Approved Electrical. JD southern was contacted by the contractor and asked about the allegations and stated a collection attorney contacted the contractor trying to get monies. It was at that time the contractor, JD Southern, and the collection attorney all got on a conference call and was soon discovered that Bill with Approved Electrical was in fact paid in full following all documented pay receipts that were forwarded to the collection attorney. Several years went by and Joel got a call out of the blue from another collection attorney threatening to come to Joel's home and place of business to physically assault Joel, his son, wife, and anyone else in the place with a baseball bat. Joel called the Police and made a report. Since then Joel has not received any calls, letters, or any legal threats. It is unfortunate this day in age certain individuals are not honest. JD Southern has since changed the company name due to broadening the scale of work we now successfully complete. I can only hope Bill, Approved electrical, or any other affiliates realize filing false allegations is serious and should not be tolerated. We continue to operate a successful company with many many satisfied customers. As far as Joel having a "theft" on his record, this is not correct. In fact Joel holds secret clearance and has successfully completed several projects for the military during Operation Enduring Freedom! God Bless you all and God Bless America!!!
