Jeff Mosch and Shawn Mosch of scamvictimsunited.com hyperlinking Minneapolis, Minnesota

My name is Shawn Mosch, and I am the Co-Founder of the website ScamVictimsUnited.com  We provide resources and information for victims of scams and fraud, and we have a message board where we allow people to share their stories of being victims.

We were recently contacted by someone who felt that their information was fraudulently listed on our website, and when researching that person we found a listing for them on your site.  While I was reading up on them on your site I was shocked to see my photo on the sidebar of your site.  I clicked on it to find this report.

Ironically, this post was submitted the same day that we were sent an email from someone with a complaint about someone posting their photo on our website.  The complaint claims that we are hyperlinking pictures from other sites and stealing content, which is very similar to what the complaint was in the email we received.  The complaint goes on to list all of the different website links you can find us on . . . Facebook, LinkedIn, MySpace, Pinterest, Twitter and my personal crafting blog . . . all that have nothing to do with scams or fraud.

Then, the worst part of the entire thing is that they posted a picture of my entire family which includes my children in the report.

Their complaint says that we are  hyperlinking pictures from other sites and stealing content, yet they never mention anything about what pictures or content they are talking about.  Also, as you know from operating a webiste that allows people to share their stories, many people will come after and attack the owner/operator of the website when all we are doing is giving the consumer a forum to post their stories.  We personally have never posted any pictures or content that is "stolen".

I am asking you, as a fellow scam/fraud fighter to remove this post.  If you feel you cannot remove the post, at the very least please remove the photo of my children who have nothing to do with this person's complaint in any way.
