I received a letter from the Law Offices of Mitchell N. Kay, P.C. stating that they are trying to collect $2460.15 for a credit card that I haave NEVER owned. They have an old address and an old last name on this account. Also the phone number used to get the card on the application is one I have NEVER known or been a part off. The SS# used is mine. That is the scary part.
I have never heard of this bank to begin with. The only credit card I have ever owned I paid in full and cancelled the card over 12 years ago.
I have filed a police report concerning this matter with my local police and I am hoping they can clear up this mess with a good detective on the case.

- written validation of this alleged debt and that said alleged debt is within the statute of limitations
- Cease all verbal communications with me about this alleged debt.
