On March 1, 2019, this guy contacted me saying he could raise me US$9M to complete my company's project and requested US$7,500 deposit and I paid him through Paypal, the he just disappeared and nowhere to be found, so I contacted Paypal to refund me the money, Paypal did and declared the case was closed.

By in July , Paypal emailed me again saying after reviewing the case, there was no envidence against Jeff Baase, so I sent them the contarct which specifically said the deposit is fully refundable if he could raise me the money in 2-3 week, however Payapl came back said there was still no evidence against this guy and denied  my claim want me to pay back US$7,500.

I know Jeff Baase is a lso a realtor in New York, and he must use Paypal all the time, or he knws some high offical in Paypal, that is why Paypal is on his side. So be aware, Paypal may not protect us as consumer, even though they said if the case is close, it can not be re open, they still re open it and be aware of the crook, Jeffery Baase too!
