I got a letter that is not clear as to whether or not I’m being evicted after living here 3.5 years and giving them $1500/mo ($63,000 total!) always timely. I’ve called them to get clarity and they can’t return phone calls or emails. I had to hire an attorney just to be able to decipher the legal speak.

Waiting on a call from them (& a bill!) Why? Because the stodgy old woman that lives underneath me has a vendetta against me and has been trying to get me kicked out for three years. She claims I "purposely let my dogs outside onto the balcony to pee on her head.”Yes she’s delusional, probably mentally ill.

She used to say this before when I was watering my plants. Pretty soon I stopped having plants out there all together. I’m being told that she has right to the quiet enjoyment of her balcony but I do not. And I can’t let my dogs out there at all.

This woman works until the middle of the night and comes home and smokes a cigarette or a joint right under my window and they don’t say anything even though it’s against policy. Then she slams her door and comes in her apt and blasts her tv set all night 1am-7 AM . So I don’t have the right to the quiet enjoyment of my apartment?

I can’t get a straight answer from this incompetent management team, Who are rarely available unless you want to rent a new apartment at the much higher rate of course. They’re trying to rent my unit out for 1900+ a month which would give them an additional 5K per year and probably a large bonus. I’m a senior citizen who just got laid off and now I have a disability.

It would be very difficult for me to move with a less than 30 day notice and there are no places to live here. So they’re basically trying to keep me out on the street.
