In July of 2008, I was contacted repeatedly by a salesman from Modern Marketing Systems wanting to sell me some micro sites using google adsense.  I purchased 12 sites for $3000, to be built and maintained by this company.  He knew I had just shut down a website and was wanting something that I would not have to maintain myself. 

He told me of the guarantee of 120% if I did not make back my investment in one year.  I was NEVER informed of any hosting fees.  I was continually told to just leave the site contents alone, that they were built in the way they were for optimal results.  They continued to tell me to "just be patient".

In early '09 I received a call while at my job, that MMS was going to reconstruct my 12 sites because they knew they were not making any money.  They were going to redo these sites using Amazon ads instead of google adsense.

On April 3, 2009 I received an email listing 2 of the new sites, instructions for logging on to Amazon, and an assurance that the remaining 10 sites would look like this soon.  Still no mention of any hosting fees.

On August 7, 2009 I made another call to MMS and spoke with yet another new employee, Angela, who when questioned about what was going on with the remaining sites, made the first referrence to the hosting fees not having been paid.  But, because she was new she would have Jim Ford give me a call back when he arrived in that day.  Jim did return the call, but unfortunately I missed him.  From then on, whenever I would call, he was not in.  Finally on August 20 I called again and got through to Sara, last name unknown.  Sara began telling me that the original quarantee of 120% was voided because the hosting fees had never been paid. 

I was like so many others posting here...I was never told of a hosting fee, and was continually told to just sit back and let them manage the sites.

I would like to throw my name in the pool with Rhoda from Bonners Ferry Idaho, if there is ever a class action suit.
