Jitney Atlantic City prepared to be yelled at by new manager Atlantic City, New Jersey

I am the President of the Atlantic City Jitney Association.  In reference to the aforementioned article regarding the Jitneys and its "Manager" let me state the following:

Although I have never personally had a conversation with the individual who wrote this article, I did follow up and identify her by name and the company she works for.  This person is a receptionist who was given the task of pricing transportation services for the company where she works.  She contacted one of our drivers but was not prepared with pertinent information such as times, dates and the number of people needed to be transported.  Her conduct on the phone was unprofessional at best and was witnessed not only by our driver, but her supervisor as well.  I spoke with the Vice-President of her company, who offered his sincere appology and assured me that disciplinary action on his end was forth coming.  In addition, the contract that the writer claims was lost will now be offered to the Jitney Association.  

Websites such as Ripoff Report are valuable tools to help fight fraud when used responsibly.  Unfortunately, when they are used irresponsibly, as in this case, it serves to undermine credibility.  The Atlantic City Jitney Association has been in business for 97 years and we take customer transportation service seriously.  Please be forewarned, make sure what you write is true, otherwise it may cost you your job!
