JK Harris And Associates is a total ripoff... ask me! Charleston South Carolina

We ran our own business years ago and got into tax trouble when the business went belly-up. We paid JKHarris to help us settle with the IRS. It has been almost three years and we are no closer to a settlement than we were before we contacted JKHarris. We are poorer; the IRS has levied our home, bank accounts and seized our wages. ALL OF THIS happened AFTER we hired JKHarris.
I have filled out tons of forms and have copies of hundreds of e-mails I sent requesting some help and notice of progress. I received no good news...only news that nothing could be done for us at that time. The bank drafts that were drafted to JKHarris had no problems however. All that money went to them on time and paid in full.
Now there is a class action suit and we did not sign anything. The JKHarris office sent us a notice that we had been turned loose and that they wished us good luck with our tax problems. WHAT DO WE DO NOW?
We are still in arrears with the IRS, we paid money to JKHarris and got NOTHING from them but the runaround, and my husband's wages are still being garnished.
Getting involved with this company was the worst thing we could have done. The sad part is that we feel stupid for falling for their promises on the TV commercial. We are hard-working parents of three children and we needed help. Three years later we are still waiting.
If anyone has any advice or a lead to someone who will REALLY help us, please let me know. This situation has caused a great deal of strain on our famiily and we would love to see it settled.
