JMB marketing is running some sorf of scam. People are run through their system like a cattle drive. The lack of training is intentional, there is always a reason to fire everyone. Workers have submitted social security numbers and bank account info to, who only knows.
On the other end, contracted workers are requesting credit card info of consumers. I am surprised to see Walmart, Home depot, and MD 247, as part of their survey platform. Sidetick tv? Perhaps there is a TAX WRITE OFF, to say they hired so many people, even if most don't last a week. I was never paid for any time put in.

I started working at home for JMB this week. I found their training to be "adequate". It certainly wasn't as thorough as I expected it to be, however I would like to point out that the team leaders are ALWAYS available on your Skype account. If you followed the instructions they emailed you upon accepting an offer of employment you would have added ALL their names to your Skype account, including the trainer and IT person as well as the Manager and Assistant manager. If someone is away from their computer there are at least 8 other people that can quickly address any issues you have while working for this company. I have found each and every person I have chatted with and asked questions of EXTREMELY helpful and knowledeable.
Addressing the pay issue ... as with any job, you get paid for the work you ACTUALLY put in. Since the majority of the people working for their company are remote (they do have a physical call center to my understanding) they have to track the amount of time logged into the system in order to pay you correctly. I would carefully ask the person that complained about only getting paid 21 hours for 40 hours of work if you were actually "ACTIVE" for 40 hours or if you sat around and "pretended" to work for 19 of those hours by leaving your dialer on pause. They ask if you are going to take a "break" to pause your dialer. If you're going to be longer than 5 minutes they require you to fully "log out" of the system. They can logically see everyone that is logged into their system, and I'd be surprised if there aren't people who are "taking advantage" of the system by pausing the dialer and walking away from the computer expecting to get paid. I have news for you, you don't work you DON'T GET PAID. The number of people I saw in the roughly 5 hours I spent logged in to the system today spending more than 5 minutes on "pause" was staggering. One person was "paused" for more than 45 minutes. That person will not get paid for that time, I can almost guarantee it.
Before you go criticizing a company you worked for 2 weeks, or even QUIT after a week, realize that it is a sales job, and if you under perform (don't meet the quota) they have the right to terminate you any time they wish. It's not personal, they just can't pay someone that doesn't sell anything for them. Actually DO the work and you might be surprised at the pay. Their comission structure rewards top sellers. You will earn an hourly rate, but any time you exceed your hourly rate in comissions (sales) you will receive that pay. Their commission is NOT extra on top of your hourly rate, but rather an incentive to perform well. If you had read the contract you would understand that fact.

JMB Marketing: Avoid this employer

I didn't heed the warning about taking a position as a work-from-home employee with this company and I was very disappointed in their misrepresentation of their value proposition as well as their training.
Inbound calls are just redirected calls from people who are being deluged with robocalls from some website and the callers have no idea who this company is or why they were called. The vast majority are seniors who think they're getting a gift card to Walmart.
They provide 1 hour of "training"--essentially putting you into a snk or swim position. No one that I started with was prepared to take calls or complete any transaction. The management staff is among the sleaziest I've ever seen in years of working from home from reputable companies. I never planned to be there long term, but felt like I needed to shower at the end of my first day after realizing that this was a very "low" company that technically doesn't rip anyone off--but is very, very misleading to all involved--employees as well as customers.
Although I did work 40 hours my first week, their total lack of responsivness as I was trying to figure out how to log on caused me to miss out on almost 8 hours over 2 days. After 1 week I'd had enough when I realized that even though I was killing myself, I only got paid for 21 hours.
You'll get paid, but nothing close to what they imply in their interview. They rarely have anyone lasting longer than 2 weeks.
