JMZ Management Lies, crooks, thief, absurd novi Michigan

I leased property 12 mth and owner allowed lease to term early as we had just purchase a house. signed lease addendum without deposit penalty. we had paid the month in full but term'd lease on 15th so partial month payment was to be refunded. about 25 days after move out arose issues. we received our partial deposit (30% of deposit) back due to dog hair, dog smell, and about dog hair under refrigerator...etc. they also sited cleanliness issues as for the reason why they withheld 70% of our deposit. owner had a dog in the house for years prior to us renting and carpet was not cleaned prior to our lease begining. we paid extra $ every month for our dogs and disclosed the type of large breed dogs to jmz and property owner. we also paid a cleaning fee at beginning of lease. house was left clean and disinfected, tile floors mopped and cleaned. JMZ representative was there on the last day of lease to affirm that we were officially out and he made comments that everything look great and is cleaner than most rental homes on move out date. Our usage was of a normal nature and no damage was done to the home. Don't deal with this company!!! Unless you want to lose money at lease end and their sole purpose is to find ridiculous reasons to keep your deposit. Never dealt with anyone so deceitful as JMZ. Prorated monthly amount issue. jmz raised reasons outside of lease addendum document why they are not going to return our prorated rent amount. This company beleives that they are judge and jury. Wait till my atty's get ahold of them. boooyaah! i will update ya'll with the result.
