Mr. Pastore has a very colorful history as a prolific Un-licensed contractor in Alameda County, California. Namely in the "Tri-City" area of Newark, Union City, Fremont.

FACT: Mr. Pastore has (literally) served a prison sentence for performing un-licsensed, un-insured contractor work. This information CAN be obtained through public records and is NOT rumor.

That being said, I must make it clear that this is not a libelist statement. The facts are that Mr. Pastore has previously ben convicted, sent to prison and served prison time for the very thing he continues to do.

Mr. Pastore recently was commisioned to complete a kitchen and bath remodel in Fremont, CA.

FACTS: To this day, he performs illegal un-licensed contracting services His work is sub-standard and of very poor quality He took nearly 53 days to complete a mere week-long project He provided WRITTEN estimates for work in excess of $1,000+ The "finished" product was nowhere near complete nor professional in appearance

SUBJECTIVE OBSERVATIONS: He utilizes his shady past as a bargaining tool - he states that he has "learned his lesson" hence why he now provides excellent service He states that his low bidding prices are some form of "amends" for having been dishonest and shady in the past He over promises and perpetually under delivers He wilfully and purposely takes an inordinate amount of time on projects to justify his position He simply does NOT finish jobs & what work he actually "finishes" is very poor quality

Mr. Pastore frequents church groups and a variety of christian self-help groups. He also frequents "AA" 12-step meetings. His modus operandi is to befriend people at these places and gain their trust, as a long-time member of these 12-step groups, he uses his tenure within these groups to spread his business through "word of mouth" referrals.

Sadly, it appears he uses the trust people instill in him (from within these self-help groups) to leverage his way into work. Once he gains the trust of people, he enters into business agreements that he does not complete.

Bottom line - facts are that this gentleman has been found GUILTY by the legal justice system of being criminally negligent as a "Contractor". He still continues to do this same thing.

#1 REBUTTAL Individual responds Let's be totally transparent AUTHOR: John Pastore - (USA) SUBMITTED: Saturday, September 12, 2015 When I contracted without a CSLB a class action suit was started. The two people that filled reports here in joined, so what that meant is that I could not do work that material and labor Exceeded $300.00. One person in this report was $7000.00 behind on their payments to me when they were made aware of the suit.they even assured me they were in the process of taking a second mortgage to fund the project. Never was it a problem with the quality of the work. Therefore joining the class action suit relieved them of having to pay that money. The other report the same thing, just no where near the same amount! So in all fairness I would ask anyone who reads the negative report on John Pastore to please know the whole story! Thank you, John Pastore Respond to this report! What's this?

I was suppose to have done a prison term I did not. It was stated this was public record so I went online and searched California, and then national, and found no such thing. I was supposed to recently remodel a kitchen in Fremont, I did not. I have been disabled since 2008, and do not work. It said in the report that I go to AA meetings, I do not. I am legally disabled with the state of California so please feel free to check that out. The supposed prison term is easy to check with California correctional facility website. I am even willing to give the proper person my social security number to prove I have never done a prison sentence.
