Rebuttal:

I have to admit there are numerous agents that work for John Hancock that don't know what the hell they are doing. All they want is the almighty commission.



I don't know what kind of policy you were sold, however, I do know there are numerous policies that do work the way they are intended to. I was an agent for the John Hancock Companies for 8 yrs and did very well. The reason for this is the fact that I was very knowledeable about all the products and I would lay the benefits out and the policy sold it self. No promises ever. There are no guarantees in life insurance except it will pay the face amount. However, it won't if there are any loans against them or if one is taken out with the intend to defraud or to commit sucicide within the first two years.



The major reason for my success with them is the fact that I held to basic principals. That being, I did for a customer what I would do for my own family and that I could look at myself in the mirror every day. I was never so hungry to try to scam people. There are many that will, so you do need to be careful.



I am sorry you have such a distaste for John Hancock, because they are one of the few that have been around forever, and I am sure they will still be here when others aren't and we are all dead.
