John M. Burgess and John W. Burgess sent us a letter stating he could help us avoid foreclosure, rent our house, sue mort. co. Tampa Florida

 Yeah, John M. Burgess and John W. Burgess got us, too. I guess we are the latest of his victims. He sent us a letter telling us he could help us avoid foreclosure problems,  rent our house,  sue the mortgage company,  get a big settlement, and sell the house after about two years.  We would get 30% and for his efforts and the use of his 4 attorneys he gets 70%. Over the past two years we had been so careful to avoid fraudulence and scams, but this one caught us at a very vulnerable time. John took us to lunch several times, including merting with our small children.  He said he was dying of pancreatic cancer, he's also a diabetic and heavy smoker. He said he wants to help as many people as he can while he's still on earth. He's a very generous tipper and is kind to everyone he meets, but the Devil is a lier! 

He said he would give us $2,000 to move out of our house. $200now, $1, 800 in a few weeks. Then 30% of rent. That was almost two months ago. We got our $200 and that's were it ended. He promised to help us get a home in the state we moved to, he promised to teach us how to make money buying tax deeds. He said everything right, told us we were "smart people"  we were "nice family". I even helped take care of him when he was "sick". 

John Burgess is very smooth and convincing. He says he's part Portugese. He has a voice like he chews on glass, he walks with a limp due to amputated toes on his right foot and his second toe is gone on his left foot. He drives a new black Cadillac and when he's in Tampa, he has an apartment at 934 Channelside Dr. On the top floor. He is originally from Massachusetts. He states he has homes in Mass., Pompino Beach, Miami, and other places. His birthday is in November,  he is 57 years old, I believe.  He said he has his chemo treatments at Mass General Hospital.

Do not trust this sociopath. He doesn't care about you or your family. If you meet him, turn and run. You do not want to sign anything. Never let your gaurd down. Keep your eyes on your goals for your familys' sake. God is good and I hope we will come out on top of this crazy situation.  Thank God for our friends who brought this to our attention.  There is a special, very hot place for people like John and his crew.

Lesson learned!
