I was a Flight Attendant and was having a layover in Houston TX. When the hotel shuttle finally arrived I was first in line with all of my bags, 3 of them. When the shuttle driver opened the back it was already more than half full. There was my crew a Delta crew and 6 or 8 other people in line. I even asked the driver if he had the room for all of the luggage. He said no problem. My co- worker was standing right there so I went for a smoke because I knew it would take time to load. He was servicing 2 Hotels. We were the 2nd stop. When he put my bag down I noticed that my thick plastic crew tag was hot and melted.

After I was in my hotel room, settled for the night I got out my tablet. It was still warm and the screen was cracked. I started going through my bag and found makeup and snacks and other items ruined. I wrote a note and took it to the front desk as it was about 3am. The next day a manager came to my room saw what was damaged. I was only concerned about the tablet and she took pictures. When I told the other Flight attendant and showed her my melted crew tag did she tell me that the driver took out most of the bags and put mine on the bottom since we were the 2nd. Hotel stop.

Had I known that I would have carried my bag on. That's way too much weight for a med soft side bag. Jordan Mead treated me like I was nothing and knew I wouldn't pursue it. After calling him he made the comment that it was only $70 even though I told him my 91 year old mother got it for me. He said I didn't have proof but I did have a witness. Again he belittled me and then he HUNG up on me like get over it. He was right at first cause I blew it off like he figured but I'm done with being treated like this. ..
