Joe Becker runs a bar in the Philippines called "Chicago Joes Bump and Grind" and does taxes in the USA as a sideline.
Here is a recent Facebook Post from him (Feb 20, 2013): "Hello Chicagoers, Party People. Mactan Islanders, and Cebu Ciityites It's me Chicago Joes, and I have been working hard in the USA. I miss Chicago Joes's and you. For all the party people still therre I will be doing a live broad cast on Saturday Night from Houston Texas to Host our Sexy Dance Contest. Woulld like to see all the Sexy Ladies To come dance with me."
If you want this guy to do your taxes, go ahead! But why would you? He is not a Tax Pro...

Becker back in Town, Still in Trouble! Owes IRS

Joe Becker abandoned his Philippine businesses abruptly shortly after the original ripoffreport on him was written. He closed his bar and went back to the tax business. However his troubles with the government continued in both the Philippines and the USA.
I will not comment on the Philippine problems because they are rumors. However in the United States he was hauled before court in a case in San Antonio where the government found him liable from millions of dollars in unpaid taxes. The Tax Court in November 2018 found he committed multiple frauds, but due to technical errors by the IRS, he escaped fraud penalties on a technicality.
The court did find him liable for millions of dollars however. Somehow he is still in business.... Do you want your taxes prepared by a guy who owes the IRS millions of dollars due to fraudulent taxes? Here is Tax Court Link https://www.ustaxcourt.gov/ustcinop/opinionviewer.aspx?ID=11642
