Hi Sandi.  I am person who's elderly family member was also scammed by  Joseph Glenn Vany aka...Joe Van-y.  He presented himself as a legitimite contractor and did substantial damage to the existing property as well as "made off" with a large sum of money with the promise to do the work that he proposed.  He tried to legitimize his contracting work with blueprints that he had drawn up by a professional architect. 

As far as i know, the architect was legit but Joe Van-y used the professional blueprints to perpetuate the fraud.  I am trying to contact any individual(s) who have been taken harmed by this person who parades around looking for vulnerable people to take money from with the promise of performing construction work.  Please contact me directly at 989-225-6672.  I am so sorry for your circumstances.  It sounds like my relative was the next victim of this fraud scheme after you were victimized.  If I can help you, I will try.

This guy has a long list of criminal convictions relating to fraud and it appears that after serving time in prison and being released from his probation conditions, he wasted no time victimizing new and unsuspecting people.  He should not be allowed to continue this and this has to stop so no one else is added to his list of fraud victims.
