Joy's Consigned Furnishings dishonest, ripping off consignors Denver Colorado

On several occasions, I have checked on items that I have consigned and noted the prices on items. When received consignment check(s) I was not given the agreed-on 1/2 share, they stated the items sold for less than marked, even though sold within a week of consignment.

On several occasions, my consignment checks have been "lost in the mail." On all occasions they have claimed they did not receive the check back, even though I did not receive it either. Each time they make me wait an additional 30 days before they will reissue the check that they supposedly mailed. In other words, for an item that sold at the beginning of May, I still have not received my consignment check.

I went to their store and tried to purchase a wall hanging for $25.00 that has been in their store for over 90 days in exchange for the $27.50 they owe me, they refused to let me use the what they owe me (from May) as a store credit to buy the art. I asked Joy to make an exception but of course she refused.

On two occasions, they have sent two different checks, that were supposedly lost in the mail and both listed different sale prices for exact same items, so I got ripped off on the second issued checks for the first checks that were supposedly lost in the mail.

The owner (Joy) and her mother are very rude and if you listen carefully you will hear them whispering and putting down people that come into their store (behind their backs). They are quite caddy and immature.

BEWARE of consigning with them, they are not honest, and no matter what they tell you they do not care about their customers. Just listen to how they talk.
