While reviewing my credit card on-line I found a fraudulent charge for JP Media Ltd. for $96.00 which I did not authorize.

I immediately called JP Media (888.548.1032) and explained to them that I did not make any purchase or authorize any purchase on-line and demanded a credit. I also wanted to know who placed this order and what was placed. Julie with JP Media did not speak to me in a customer service manner, and told me to get in touch with my bank and my bank would handle the situation. I demanded once again to get the information about who placed the order, and what was ordered. She got real snippy and had an attitude with me, and said that I was not listening to her and I was getting upset with her. I told her that she would be upset too if someone used her card! Julie also told me that should could not help me out if I was getting upset with her. She also said she would credit my account for $96.00. Julie also told me to go to www.jpmedialtd.com and that website has an e-mail address for credit card charges that you do no recognize and also a toll-free number to call. I called the toll-free number and it was JP Media, and Julie again! Julie said she couldn't help me any more that day. Well...I called a few hours later, and spoke with "John". John was absolutely rude...just like Julie. I personally don't think "Julie and John" are their real names. John said a credit would be issued and it takes 14 days to process (business days). John also read "notes" about how rude and bitchy I was. John even called me a b***h! What is it with this company?

I called one week after this incident to check on my credit...and spoke to "John" again. He called me a b***h once again, and said I would be getting a credit, and takes 14 business days to process. He also read the "notes" to me about myself...saying that I was rude and bitchy and unwilling to listen to them...which is absolutely false! I called once again during that week to check the status of my credit, and spoke to John once again, and he read my "notes", and told me that a credit would be issued, and there's nothing more he can do!

Today I called, since today is the 15th business days since JP Media supposidely made this credit. I spoke with Julie and she told me that they know longer handle JP Media's account! I then asked Julie what her company was, and she said it was "Interactive Audiotext Service". I told her that when I spoke to her three weeks ago, her company name was "JP Media", and she didn't say a word. Are they confused? Julie said that they no longer handle JP Media, and also told me to call my bank and they would handle it.

My credit card has been closed, and my bank is working on getting my credit that I deserve. I have no idea how they got my credit card number, I never shop on-line and always keep my card in my wallet.

I called the Nevada Consumer Affairs department this morning, and they don't have any reports for: JP Media, Interactive Audiotext Service or Cybershops1.com. What is going on here? Are there more names that we are on aware of? There are dozens of complaints on the web about "JP Media", why hasn't the Nevada Consumer Affairs Department heard of them???

I cannot get a straight answer from anyone, and I'm running out of patience. It pissess me off that a company is getting away with Fraud!!! It needs to stop!
