JR Brothers Financial J & R Brothers Harassment FDCPA Violations Identity Theft Phoenix Arizona

 This company started calling me regarding someone else's debt. I have no idea who this person is or how I'm connected to them, likely the agent simply misdialed the number. The rep, Sandy, however, was quick to disclose their name, address, date of birth and social security number in some sort of attempt to "prove" that it was me. Being that I worked at a collection agency in college, I always try to be patient with these agents as I know it's a tough job. However, Sandy was out of control.... Our conversation ended with her calling me a "loser b****" and me asking to speak with her manager. He had to "call me back after a meeting". When he called back I made sure to be sweet as pie as I recorded the conversation on Googlevoice, which was great because he was even more nasty and called me a c***. All recorded. I reported them to the attorney generals office, and they rebutted with a letter calling me an "abusive and desperate deadbeat." I received a copy from the attorney general. Nice. Filing that complaint did, however, get them to stop calling me, so win-win? I also played the recording for the company who hired them to collect the debt (oh yes, miss Sandy shared that with me, too). As far as I last heard, Valley Facial Surgery in Scottsdale, has stopped using them. Hopefully that's still the case. All that to say, this company is horrible and should be shut down. There were so many privacy and FDCPA violations, I don't know how they're still around. Pathetic.
