JR Furniture Bellingham Poor customer support and products Bellingham Washington

In Nov of 2011 we purchased a "synthetic leather" 3 piece living room set. After about 6 monthe the material began to separate on one of the couch backs. We notified the store and even took the piece with us. The manager said he would contact the owner to resolve and that he "never saw that with that product" - after approx 3-4 months of constant calling and even stopping in again they replaced the defective back. I ask if we should be concerned about the rest of the furniture and were "ASSURED" by the manager that the product should "easily last 6-7 years"

Well that is NOT true as the rest of the furniture is coming apart. I took several pictures and we went into the store to see if they would stand behind the product and they took the pictures and again were told the "OWNER" would be in conatct - keep in mind that this occured right after the holidays in 2014 and we are gone most of the time and usually only use the furniture about 2 hours a day when we get home at night ( we work in seattle and comute daily so don't have much couch time) and I estimated it only has been used about 2200 hours (3 years at 2 hrs per day- generous as we are usually not home 1-2 days per week)

To date we have had no contact to resolve the poor quality. We stopped in recently and were told that the furniture we bought only had a 1 year warantee not the 6-7 year warantee we were led to believe. Had we been told of the short coverage we would have bought elsewhere. The product is the "Pleather couch/loveseat and reclining rocker. THIS IS PURE JUNK - I would strongly suggest you stay far far far away.
