Juniper Credit Card Company 39.00 dollar late charge for 89 cents left off payment,confusing information from call centers Wilmington Delaware

I left off 89 cents from my credit card payment by mistake. The entire payment was for 37.89. Juniper charged me a 39.00 late fee.I called a call center and spoke a unemotional robotic quality call taker with a indian accent who said the late charge couldn,t be taken off.

One call center (american accent was more helpful and said the 37 dollars could be credited and the 89 cents added to the next bill. called back the next day 05/15/09 and the call center(indian accent) said the 37 dollars could not be credited.
