Alex Kelly of Junk Car Boys sent me an email with a guarantee of $215.00 for my car (in writing!). Said the dispatcher would contact me about towing.
Tow driver called this morning but said he was in Richmond, VA (I live in Fairfax, VA) and they must have made a mistake. I called and was told that a mistake was made; that they don't usually tow in Fairfax, VA; that their buyer would only pay $190.00 so I would have to take $150.00. I pointed out that Alex Kelly had guaranteed $215.00 and I had it in writing, but that didn't hold any sway with them.

Junk Car Boys Are Heroes!

I was a bit too hasty in filing my report this morning. Junk Car Boys are heroes in this situation with their excellent customer service. They contacted a towing service in my area and the tow driver arrived with a check and took my car away. Many thanks to Alex Kelly for his apologies, Ben (a manager) for resolving the situation in a great manner, and Andrew Hahn (one of the owners) for contacting me with customer support innovations. I wouldn't hesitate to deal with Junk Car Boys again!
