Justin R. Barbera is a criminal and should be put behind bars. This man came to my house in late May to assess a water leak. He told me he would take care of everything and all I had to do was give him the $500 deductable that was my portion when filing an insurance claim. He told me not to worry that he would do all the leg work with the insurance company. He came out and cut about a 12 foot section of my wall where the water had damaged it. It took him two months to replace that drywall and he only did this after receiving a $2000.00 check from the insurance company. Shortly following he received another check for over $12,300.00 dollars. He was supposed to replace my HVAC unit to include air/heat and my living room/dining room/entry way floor. This contractor went and bought the cheapest floor he could find to install in my home once installed it looked terrible. I asked him to remove it and he did not like that, so the floor was returned, he was allotted almost $1,500.00 to replace the floor and he paid $260.00 for the new floor. Needless to say I still do not have a floor or an HVAC unit. Justin Barbera got away with over $14,300.00 for putting up a 12 ft drywall. I want everyone to know about this crook. He drives a pickup truck with an American flag on it which I believe says God Bless America. Yeah, the land of the opportunist. He proclaims to be a Christian and on his voice mail he has the nerve to say "God Bless America", this guy is a scum bag. Stay away, do not give him your business. I am going to tell anyone who will listen about this guy. I am an Air Force veteran with morals and I trusted this man. It is now November and I do not have any heat in my home, and I have a family. Now I have to go out and contract someone else and pay them again to fix what Justin already got paid for. BEWARE!!!!!

Really?

AUTHOR: asianspa - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, June 11, 2013

Why did it take the owner of this business almost 2 years to respond?

Also, I'm not saying that Justin Barbera is not credible, but his numerous different websites, similarly sounding testimonials (coincidence?), and overall faux God/'Merica exterior, does not lend him much in a way of a first impression.

He might not be a crook, but he is wearing a crooks uniform.

Thief through and through

AUTHOR: AF Veteran - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, February 25, 2013

Justin Barbera is still a thief and he is just trying to justify his actions. He fails to mention that he was paid 14,378.00 to install an HVAC unit which he never did!!!!!! I was force to hire an outside contractor and paid them an additional 7,000 out of my pocket to install the HVAC unit. The 14,378.00 was part of the HVAC money the 3,400 dollar that Justin refers to is the money that the insurance company pays once the total job is complete, but that never happen. Why don't you try telling the whole truth Mr. Barbera.

That last check was canceled by the insurance company because Justin could not prove the job was complete!!!! I have all the paperwork backing up my claim. As far as the case dismisal, I requested that because I had already lost 6 days of work going to court and the criminal court system works in the favor of the criminals the victims are voiceless. I would have to go to civil court and I am still thinking about doing that, so don't count me out just yet. I still caution everyone out there to be careful with this guy if he thinks he can get away with it he will. If anyone wants to contact me please do, I have all the evidence to prove my claim............

Bites the Hand that Feeds them

AUTHOR: JRB - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, February 24, 2013

This client should be a shame of the action she has taken to discredit the good services my company provided her (Nancy).  The worst part is local customers are now getting the false impression of my services.

Nancy forgot mention she was living in a home full of mold and had a infant child at risk. Once my company was contacted by her, we managed to remediate the mold problem immediately and informed her that the insurance that she was paying on the condo would pay to remove and repair the home, with no out of pocket cost to her ( except deductible). We as always were able to identify the problem causing the mold (HVAC system)and invoice the insurance company of the cost of the repairs.  So we removed the mold and associated structures and replaced the flooring, upgraded to tile at the entry way (no charge), replaced the trim and drywall. At the end of each day the client thanked my workers and said they do great work.

Here is where the client showed her true colors, two weeks pass by after the initial repairs were made, and we waited for the insurance company to make the final payment of $ 3,400 which we planed to use on a new HVAC system. I receive a call from her son in-law. The guy was irate, complaining about everything under the sun. Looking back I should have hung up on him immediately and not even considering giving his verbal abuse any thought, since he was not my actual client. But I did, and I went back and replaced the wood flooring out of pocket, and also the tile entry. The next day I got a call from the clients daughter, and she went on a more conservative verbal bashing, and demanded I install the new HVAC system out of pocket, and promised I would be paid when the check came.

Normally I would give the client a good faith gesture, and install the HVAC system. But, since Nancy and her relatives changed their minds so frequently at my cost, I needed the assurance of the payment to install the system. This was unacceptable to them, and went to the police. I receive a call from the Mt. Laurel police and found out I am charged with "theft by deception". Well needless to say that cost me time and money, and in the end it was dismissed from the court, because I stole nothing, and the insurance check was mailed to her months earlier and she hired someone to install the HVAC system that I was contracted to install.

She attempted to have me charged with $ 14,000 and I'm not sure where that number came from, since the bulk of the work was done,  not once but twice.  I cant say I understand how the word theft got involved with this case, since noting was stolen, but maybe that's how she was able to get the police involved.

Furthermore, Nancy went on the internet and EXTORTED my good name. That's why I'm on this website trying to explain my side of the story. There are plenty of clients that thank us for the service we provide them, and this is clearly not one of them.
