Karen Vance Kahali Cattery Took deposit for cat and then would not respond to request for pickup address, medical records and pedigree info Altona New York

I contacted Karen Vance of Kahali Cattery about adopting a pedigreed adult Abyssinian.  After many emails back and forth, where she never quite managed to answer my questions, she demanded a deposit so she could be sure I was serious. 

I didn't feel good about it, but the picture she sent me was of a lovely cat, and so I made the deposit.  That was the last time she responded to any of my emails.  I did some research, and spoke to a breeder I know with an excellent reputation.  Found out this is the second or third cattery name she has used, apparently changing the name each time she gets enough bad reviews. 

I'm glad I didn't pay her full price and end up with a diseased cat as some of her buyers did.  Previously she used the name Cedarwood Cattery.  She has no address that I could find other than a P.O. Box in Altona, NY
