I wouldn't recommend this company for anything.  They lied to me over the phone to get me there by calling me after I had did this online application with Prestige. The person who I spoked to I can't remember her name now but she told me that I had 24 hours to come into the dealership with my proof of work (paystubs) and proof of home ownership. I took off the next day to get there by the time that I had scheduled and the place was jacked from the word go.  No cars around but the promise of always cars on the weekend put up a flag to me. When I sat down with a salesman who is no longer working there (Javon Wheatley), he wanted me to fill out an application all over again which I questioned because I told them nothing had changed since my online application. I did this and after I had processed everything since I was in bankruptcy also, I had a letter stating how much I could spend but it wasn't enough to get one so the financial guy Chris came out to speak to me and even drafted up a letter to my lawyer to send to the trustee asking them to increase the proposed monthly payment so that I could get a car. Well it took longer than the 30 days for me to get the trustee to respond but after I got it I faxed it to Chris and he told me that he would get in contact with his finance department and give me a call back, this was Saturday, June 12th. I didn't hear from Chris on the afternoon of the 12th, Monday the 14th or Tuesday the 15th. I called many times on Monday and Chris (Finance) would never pick up the phone to talk and I called numerous times to talk to Chris on Tuesday but when that didn't work I asked for the manager of the place and someone named Matt got on the phone.  Matt told me that the initial 30 days had past and I had to wait 8 more days to re-apply for the program.  I waited and on the 24th I spoke to Chris finally who told me that I now had to pay 5% down and also pay for my tags, title and license.  Now initially, I was told that I had been approved for 100% financing and 0 down payment but that turned out to be a lie!  This revelation of not being able to get into a vehicle that I wanted and that I would have to take something smaller and pay a downpayment significantly disturbed me, I hung up the phone and told my wife I wouldn't be calling back.  I got a call from Andy who informed me that he could get me into a Sorrento but would get back to me on the specs.......never did.  I called him back 2 days later and he told me that the Sorrento was gone but he would see what else he could do. I get a call this morning from Andy telling me that he could get me into a Nissan Ultima with 1,000 down. I asked him how much that would be a month and Andy says he would call me back.  He calls me back saying that the Altima would need 2,500 down but he could get me into a jetta with 1,000 down.  I found this website and read all of these reviews and I called Andy back telling him that I didn't know anyone on here but there stories are like mine and he said he didn't know anything about this website.  Do not use this dealership ..........they are a MAJOR SCAM. Chris from Finance is not on the up and up.  I placed Paulette (phone operator) on here not because I hate her but when I needed to speak to someone she never knew where anyone was and from my visit, she shouldn't be that far from the floor to see if these people are in or not.  I feel very misused in my search for a vehicle and I have to start over which sucks for me and my family.

a former car salesman

AUTHOR: Bill d - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, July 21, 2010

this is a typical VIP report--when i sold cars the people with bad credit were "VIP's"---VERY INGNORANT PEOPLE----first off--you were never APPROVED as you all say along with the other vip who said they were approved----you got a call after you submitted a credit application and the phone call went something like this "this is so and so from so and so motors and your application has been ACCEPTED for UP TO 30k and we need you to come in to verify the info"--hence why you need to bring your pay stubs and utility bill as proof of address----in most vip cases there was nothing the "special finance" manger could do---most banks who give the loans required these people to put down a lot of money----very rarely have i seen vip deals work---out of the 50 that come in i have seen maybe 1 or 2 approveed cause somehow they had the down payment-----to think you can go into a dealer and drive off with a car for 0 down and a low monthly payment is nuts--especially if you have bad credit----this is in no way to diss anyone but to educate--deep down you know what the truth is---and by the way--if you filed bankruptcy--how could you think you can go somewhere and get a car----i have also just received my bankruptcy discharge so i do not want to hear about tough times cause i have them 2----also from what i have seen--most bankruptcy cases the debtor walks away debt free and nothing taken from them--of course my case was different but that is a different story----of course i have no advice and i am not perfect---but if you have bad credit--do not think you can just apply for a loan and get it-and remember the exact words when someone calls you---when i sold cars many times people would tell me right off the bat that "i am already approved why do we need to do the application again"

Hey RJ, have a heart bad things happen to many good people, remember 9/11? We also lost EVERYTHING and have thankfully recovered.

And the average bankruptcy only costs creditors a few seconds to recover from.

So you are in bankruptcy and want to buy a car.  So you have already screwed people you owed money to and now you want to get back in debt again so you can do it again?

I have no idea why anyone would give credit to anyone in bankruptcy.

AIC KIA Is A Complete SCAM

AUTHOR: Bigcraig - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, July 19, 2010

Wow, I wish we would have found this before we went down there also, a complete scam.
I work midnights and was to meet a Pam Macy at 9am, we raced like idiots down to Manassas and sure enough some fat lard azz meets me at the door saying "what do you want" I told him we were to meet Pam and he said she is not there....I just spoke to her on the phone and she is waiting on me...no you have to sign in-register and wait for Chris. I told el'lardo we are already pre-approved and want to see the Kia Barrego new or used that Pam said you have, lardo said we aint got non of them you have to pick out something off the lot...we only want what we came in for.
So I called Universal finance which somehow got my contact information and through a bunch of bs said Pam was busy in meetings fully knowing my work schedule and supposed to be sleeping during the day. Thankfully I only lost a few hours sleep and did not go any further with this scam.
BTW AIC Kia if you ever threaten me or my wife again it will be the last time, I have many friends in and around DC that will take you out.
