Kids.com in Fairfield, NJ took our money too. My husband and I received a letter in the mail stating that a company kids.com was interested in our child. We figured that since we had our daughter in so many pageants that's how they heard of her.

So I called and made our appointment. When we got there they had tones of posters up and stated that they were of some of there consumers. We were told that our daughter was perfect for modeling. I also had my 6 month old daughter with us and they sucked us into doing it for her too. We were told of all the other children that had gotten work from kids.com with 'pampers, huggies, and other brands. Also that they were on TV shows like law and order. They said that they knew it wouldn't take long for our two girls to start getting jobs. We should have known something was wrong when we had to decide right then and there if we were going to do it. We explained that we just didn't have all the money ($500) at the time because I was not working and we would have to save up to do this. So they gave us a payment plan. We were told that until the $500.00 was paid there pictures would not go on the site. So we signed up thinking if we put this money out all the money that they would make could help pay for there collage. Then we made the appointment to get pictures done which was $20 each time we went per child.
6 months went by and I had not heard from them but I put it off because I was pregnant with my third child.

After my son was born I called kids.com and told them that I had had a baby and that I was sorry for not calling to gets new pictures done. They told me it was ok and because I had a new baby they were going to add on another year to my 5 year contract so that my son could also do it. The only fee I would have to pay was to get his pictures done. So I called and made an appointment to get the pictures done. When I got there I spent $150 of pictures of my kids. My middle child had gotten a call to go try out for the European version of the gap commercial in NYC so I went. When I called to see if she got the part I was told that they had not decided, and I would get a call as soon as they new anything. Now about 6 months later I tried to call them because I have not heard anything. All numbers are disconnected even the photographers cell numbers I had, plus the website is no longer there.

Kids.com used our children's future to make there money and they need to pay for what they have done.
