They trap the IP address of the posters and give them out so you end up getting stalked.
I am a single mother and they gave my IP address to my ex husbands attorney.
When I called to talk with a manager they said "tough s**t, you should not have posted on our web site if you didn't want your information being handed out".
DO NOT post on the Killeen Daily Herald, they are crooks and liars.

I purchased some advertising from the Killeen Daily Herald just before Christmas.
Amanda Green promised to run my ad on Sunday December 25th.
They charged my credit card the $500.00.
They kept my money and never distributed the flyers.
What a scam!
I talked to others and they said that the Killeen Daily Herald ripped them off as well.
Beware of the banner ads on kdhnews.com
They sell you the ad making you believe you have top position.
They sell the same ad to others and just rotate the ad.
You do not get anywhere near the number of impressions they promise and the clicks you do get trace back to the IP addresses of KDH employees.
If anyone wants more information on the Killeen Daily Herald before they get ripped off, just visit my facebook page to get my information.

Why would they give out your IP address? And how did this enable the person to stalk you? Did you post from work, or do you live in a city he does not know about? That is the only way it could give him information.

Seriously?!

WHY would anyone, a business, share an IP address? What gives them the right? Do they realize the people or person that they can be hurting in the process?
I do believe that everyone has an opinion and should be free to express it, without worry of retribution from anyone.
This is horrible. By them sharing this address they could very well have put this woman in grave danger, who is to know.
They are a NEWSPAPER, it is NOT their job to be tracking or sharing this kind of information.
It is sad that that someone responding to an article that is written is subject to this. FREEDOM of speech I guess is not so free anymore.

To believe anyone in the media is complete ignorance. They no longer serve the public, they serve themselves. In my business, I have fallen victim to the media on several occasions. If you are a minority and or someone that can in no way benefit them, they will say and do whatever is in their best interest. If you knew what I knew, you would never pick up another paper or tune into another news broadcast.
I feel sorry for someone graduating from college thinking they are going to "report the news". The only way to do that in today's society is to make a documentary. Advertisers and local government make it impossible for anyone else to have a view.

Advertisers above have met our
strict standards for business conduct.
